An absolutely amazing and dream-like location right by the beach: Sala Beach Bar @ Sala Samui Chaweng Beach Resort (13. January 2024)
My assessment of Koh Samui – in a nutshell – is that you need to find the gems, and then it’s beautiful. Else, it’s relatively disappointing. The Sala Beach Bar in the Sala Samui Chaweng Beach Resort is such a place. It offers an amazing setting with lovely drinks. I went for the “mango mule (mango, fig, ginger, ginger ale, lime)” (195 THB), which was refreshing and quite close to a ‘real alcoholic mule’.
The “summer cup (watermelon, elderflower, cucumber, basil, lime)” (195 THB) was equally enjoyable. In both cases, the production took a bit of time, but it was – overall – still within the limits of acceptable.
The staff is friendly and jovial at the same time, making your experience an even better one.
And be it during sunset or once the sun has set, the place has really something magical and truly enjoyable when you sit there and enjoy the view.
The Sala Beach Bar is definitely a place you should visit when you’re in Chaweng – since it’s quite lovely and outstanding in terms of atmosphere.
