20. November 2011: Restaurant Hänggi’s
The Puschlaver pumpkin cream soup with a cream hood (CHF 11.00) is refined with chive, pumpkin seeds, and pumpkin seed oil. The soup is creamy and has the original taste of pumpkin.
The sausage-cheese-salad with garnish (CHF 19.00) is quite good too. The cheese is a bit heavy, the salad is good though and the sausage-cheese combination is tasty too.
The dishes are pretty tasty and have a pretty fair price-performance ratio – for example, a 0,5L sparkling bottled water only costs CHF 4.80. So, there is definitely nothing to complain about that. The service is efficient and as friendly as Grisons can be (so pretty direct and no long talking but if you ask for something you get it within a few minutes. The atmosphere of the place is also quite okay as the interior is held in wood and white stone – a nice and comfortable combination.
Overall, the Restaurant Hänggi’s is a nice place to go, offers quite good food, has good service, provides a nice atmosphere, and finally has also a fair price-performance ratio.
