21. December 2011: Founder’s Arms

| December 22, 2011 | 0 Comments

The Founder’s Arms is one of these places you can drink English drinks all day long. A good thing to start the afternoon is the Winter Pimm’s (Pimm’s No. 3 Brandy Cup blended with a subtle hint of orange zest and spices, chilled with ginger ale for GBP 2.85 plus GBP 1.65 for Mixer). The drink is rather small but it tastes good at least.

There is no service as you have to get your drinks at the bar and the place is an appropriate mixture of a real English place combined with the touristy part (as it is pretty close to Tate Modern). I am sure there are more English-like pubs but it is definitely an okay place to go if you are sticking around Tate Modern and are up for a drink … or two.
