21. December 2011: Restaurant Rhubarb

| December 23, 2011 | 0 Comments

The Beef Burger (GBP 14.50) with additional Cheese & Bacon (GBP 1.50) is quite okay. The meat loaf is rather tasty and juicy, the bacon is crisp and the small gherkins which accompany the burger taste good. But the bread is a bit too fluffy, the cheese some cheap cheese slice. Overall, the burger is acceptable and not bad for airport food but it is definitely nothing outstanding. Opposed to that, the potatoe wedgies are rather good and tasteful.

The atmosphere is the one of an airport restaurant, bearable but definitely lacking charm. The service is limitedly okay. The waiter was quick but rather unfriendly unfortunately. So, overall, the burger is okay, the wedgies are even good, but the whole thing is just overpriced, not really appealing and the waiter only does his job but with absolutely no passion.
