13. January 2012: Restaurant Bistrot du Théâtre

| January 15, 2012 | 0 Comments

The Bistrot du Théâtre is known for a few specialites – one of them being the chicken wings (called “Bistro Knusperli”, CHF 19.40). The chicken wings are good, tasty, and go well with the curry sauce they are served with. So, there is nothing to say about (or against) the quality but also, they are not that outstanding so they can be called a specialty really. The plate of French fries (CHF 9.50) is okay – the fries are stroppy.

The waitress was absolutely great – very friendly, quite efficient, and also damn pretty (which of course helps). The atmosphere is okay, the place looks quite non-appealing from the outside, but it is somewhat nice inside. The prices are quite fair, although I must say, that I consider 8 chicken wings not really that big of a portion.

Overall, the restaurant Bistrot du Théâtre is a nice place to have a couple of drinks and some chicken wings – but chicken wings being a specialty there, I do not see that.
