25. February 2012: Restaurant a mo’

| February 26, 2012 | 0 Comments

The Crema al Pomodoro (tomato soup; CHF 7.90) I had as a starter was okay. A bit too watery and the taste of tomato was also not too overwhelming but at least it was warm and they tried to give it a hint of finesse by giving it a small bit of pesto.

The penne all’arrabiata (CHF 17.10) was okay but not more than that. The pasta was a bit overcooked, the sauce was okay but came directly from the can. And last bot not least, I had ordered penne al gorgonzola but as I was too hungry I said nothing. Still, that also says something about the service already. While the waitress was friendly, she was it only to the extent which was absolutely necessary. There was not even the slightest attempt of her to act in a way so as a client you would think you are actually welcome.

The atmosphere is okay, nothing special but one can go there – but more for a coffee than to eat. Well, it feeds you, but not much more than that.
