18. March 2012: deli@designraum
I walked by the deli@designraum a few times already and always felt tempted to go in – which I finally managed that night. The place is very modernly desigend, very nicely decorated and somehow associated with a travelling office as the decoration would let you assume. Downstairs it is like in a lounge and upstairs there is kind of a restaurant which also looks pretty nice.
The waiters are friendly but it was a bit weird because when we arrived everyone was outside smoking and we did not really realize if the place was still open or if there was anyone around to serve us until we realized the guys smoking outside were the waiters. Once we realized and they were in again, the service was good and they were friendly. They only have two grappe on the menu and run out of one – so the choice was not so big anymore, therefore, I had a Pimms Nr. 1 (EUR 8.50) which was good and a Cranberry Schorle (EUR 3.50) which was also good. The prices are fair but not overwhelmingly benefitial for the customer.
The place is very nice and appealing (I will definitely come back again), the waiters are friendly, the drinks are good, the prices okay – to sum it up, definitely a nice place to enjoy a couple of drinks in a very nice atmosphere.
