14. April 2012: The Old Storehouse Bar

| April 18, 2012 | 0 Comments

The Old Storehouse is a nice Irish bar which is made for tourists and offers live music from 3pm on. The music changes every two hours and is pretty good and entertaining. The atmosphere is lively, the place is crowded and it is generally speaking quite nice.

The prices for a pint of Guinness (EUR 4.95) and Bulmers (EUR 5.35) are quite okay. Generally, the waiters are friendly and helpful – only when it comes to paying by credit card there seems to be no official guide line which is a bit annoying as once it was possible to pay only a Guinness by credit card and the next time it was not as suddendly there was a new limit of EUR 10.00 as a minimal payment to be applied when paying by credit card.

Overall, nice touristic place with nice Irish live music, fair prices, quite okay overall.
