20. April 2012: DO & CO Onyx Bar
The DO & CO Onyx bar is truly nice – especially in the evening as you can see through the large glass front right at the Stephansdom which is illuminated the whole night. The bar itself is nice, pretty crowded so you should have a reservation if you want to get in on a Friday or Saturday. The drinks are good and also fair in price (about 12 EUR per drink). The crowd is strongly Eastern European driven.
The only thing which is definitely not appealing but is unfortunately true for all clubs and bars in Vienna – you are allowed to smoke inside which is pretty uncool. Other than that, the DO & CO Onyx Bar is a nice place to have a few drinks in the early evening and to have a look at the Stephansdom. Later the place gets full and the crowd changes.
