26. May 2012: Restaurant Fischstube

| May 26, 2012 | 0 Comments

Delicious fried fish (CHF 24.50; so called Fischknusperli) is what the Restaurant Fischstube has to offer. The fish is fried without being greasy and if you put some fresh lemon over it and dip it in the sauce tartare, it just taste so yummy.

But there is more to the Restaurant Fischstube than the fish only – the restaurant is built right at the lake shore so you are actually sitting partially over the lake and, therefore, get the feeling that you are on the water (technically you are). The furniture is modern, the whole setup of the tables and the lounge area is very appealing and definitely a nice spot to lay back and relax.

The waitresses are friendly and helpful but somehow also a bit confused – well, it was probably the sun they were exposed to all day long. The prices are pretty fair for the food as well as for the drinks (e.g. CHF 6.50 for 0,5L mineral water).

Overall, the Restaurant Fischstube is a very nice place – atmospheric, friendly service, great view, fair prices and very delicious fried fish.
