23. June 2012: Restaurant Wirtshaus Chlöpfen

| June 24, 2012 | 0 Comments

The salad is a pretty average: A few green leaves, a piece of tomato and some sprouts – eatable but not outstanding. It comes as part of the menu (CHF 19.00) and is quite small.

The ring of rice comes with vegetables and chicken – simple but flavourful dish. The waitresses are friendly, provide a good service. The prices are more than fine for the food and also for the mineral water (0,5L; CHF 4.70) but a bit heavy for a double espresso (CHF 5.50).

The Restaurant Chlöpfen has a nice little patio where you can sit outside and enjoy the sun – a nice restaurant in proximity to Lucerne but surrounded by woods, serving traditional plain fare.
