4. July 2012: Ristorante Portale
The “Crema di Broccoli” with Salmon stripes (EUR 5.60) was quite okay – heavy portion, just blended partially and some salmon stripes put in. Nothing special.
The “Rigatoni Matriciana” (EUR 9.30) were tastier and cooked to the point (almost al dente, a tiny little bit too much) and the sauce was fine but also nothing outstanding, really.
The waitress was very friendly after she had discovered me – I had to wave so someone would actually see me (the waiter did not even look at me after I was obviously waving with both arms). The breaks between the dishes were quite long one must say – besides that, the service was good and she was attentive. The Ristorante Portale looked nice outside (I did not manage to go inside) and it is located in the “city” center of Greven.
Overall, the Ristorante Portale is a safe place to go and have dinner but it is definitely nothing outstanding.
