If you are into meat – you definitely have to go to the Restaurant Caipirinha Churrasceria. The concept is pretty easy – for 149 MXN you can enjoy a buffet with salads, potatoes, fresh fruit and, more important, …

… included are 16 different kinds of meat which are served to you at your table directly from the spit ranging from chicken hearts, to pork sausage …

… spare ribs, pork in beer sauce, chorizo, onions, chilis, pineapple with cinnamon, …

… pork gut, and picanha. The quality of the meat obviously varied from not so great (pork gut) to absolutely delicious (picanha).

The place is simply furnsihed but nicely decorated, the service is friendly but not outstanding in their actual task. For example, when we asked for Chimichurri we had to ask twice – the same applied when we ordered another drink.

In any case, you are coming here for the meat they are offering (as it is all you can eat basically) and I can absolutely recommend you going there exactly for that. The food is definitely good, offers a great variety of different meats in different quality and last but not least, the price is unbeatable for what you get. The food is good, the service is mediocre and the atmosphere is average. But if you are hungry for lunch, definitely a great place to go.
