17. October 2012: EN – Restaurant für japanische Spezialitäten

If you are into sushi – this place is definitely a must! Amazing price performance ratio and absolutely good sushi! I went there for lunch and you get to pick from about 20 different business lunch menus (ranging from EUR 8.00 to EUR 9.70). In each there is a “miso soup” included which usually accounts for EUR 3.00. The soup itself is okay – nothing special but honestly I never had any miso soup which was truly tasty to me.

I decided to go for the “Sushi, Maki, Sashimi Bento” menu (EUR 9.70) which included 5 sushi, 6 maki and 2 sashimi. All the elements were great in taste and very fresh which was absolutely lovely. It is also prepared nicely and looks appealing so you even increase your lust for the served meal. The only element definitely not improving the whole experience was a plastic leaf to decorate the sushi – absolutely not necessary!

There is also a nice selection of teas – I decided to go for the “Green Tea” (EUR 2.50) which has enough tea so you would be entirely satisfied and which is also quite good.

The interior is pretty Spartan – simple but nice. Not the place you would want to propose at but good for lunch. The service is friendly, nice, helpful – absolutely good.

All in all, the Restaurant EN – Restaurant für japanische Spezialitäten is a great place for business lunch. Very good sushi plates, fair prices, nice and clean (but very simple) interior and friendly service.
