22. October 2012: Restaurant Café Einstein

| October 28, 2012 | 0 Comments

If you are looking for a heavy dish which goes well with some beers – then you should definitely go to the restaurant Café Einstein. I decided to have the “Balkanpfanne” with beef, pork, chicken pieces, champignons, bell peppers, onions, spicy sausage in a bell pepper sauce with spaetzle for only EUR 8.50. The portion is very, very big – not waht you would expect usually at least not for EUR 8.50. And it was quite tasty but also rather heavy.

The beer which is served in the Café Einstein can be bought by the half liter and accounts for EUR 3.70 (a so called “Krügel”). The place is pretty run down or in other words – quite old. It is not “un-nice” but it is not really appealing either. The service was rather quick and quite friendly. Overall, the Café Einstein is definitely nothing special but it is nice to have a couple of beers and to eat something quite heavy in order to level out your beer level.
