26. February 2010: Club Le Banque
The club “Le Banque” is located close to the Duomo and is therefore reachable by various means of transportation. As the name itself already makes clear (Le banque is the French word for “the bank”) the club is a former bank (or at least it’s built like one).
Getting in isn’t too much of a problem but it helps to be on any kind of guestlist which is usually not so much a challenge as there are a lot of different student parties going on and quite some groups of guestlists for this place on Facebook.
When you enter the place, it really looks nice and therefore, it should get more stars in the final evaluation but there is a major shortcoming when it comes to the place: it is freaking hot inside so you’re wet from sweat within minutes. It’s a bit better in winter but you’re literally in a sauna in summer.
Although all the marble looks really great, the design of the location is somewhat suboptimal because there is no clear distinction between separés and the “regular clubbing area”.
The music is good (normal club music), the drinks are quite strong and actually have reasonable prices (for Milan) of around 10 Euros one.
Le Banque is a good place to go if you’re a nice bunch of people and don’t mind so much about sweating like hell.
