25. – 26. December 2012: Circa 55 Restaurant @The Beverly Hilton

| December 31, 2012 | 0 Comments

The Continental Breakfast (USD 21.00) at the Circa 55 Restaurant in The Beverly Hilton is quite okay but definitely nothing outstanding. The selection is pretty limited with some salmon (quite greasy), two kinds of cold cuts, and four different kind of cheeses while two of them being very articial.

The fruit selection is pretty okay offering at least five different fruit and even a small choice of unchopped fruit (bananas and apples).

The hot buffet is not included in the continental breakfast and would accounts for another 8.00 USD. The bacon is quite okay, the egg does not really look appealing.

The choice of breads is okay if you are into sweets and donuts, otherwise it is pretty limited and the best choice being white toast, one can already imagine what it offers.

Frankly, for the fact that this place is apparently the place where the Golden Globe Awards are hosted every year and many other fancy elements, I was truly disappointed by what the buffet offered. In any case, one can eat something to get started into the day but it is not much more than that. The place itself is quite okay – it is nice, no question but it is cooled down way too much (like in any American restaurant). The service is friendly and helpful – a bit unattentive and focussed too much on their own entertainment and not so much on the guests’ well-being. All in all, if you are staying at The Beverly Hilton it is absolutely okay to go to Circa 55 restaurant to have breakfast – if you are not, then I would not recommend to have breakfast there.
