27. – 29. December 2012: Breakfast Restaurant @Embassy Suites Convention Center
The omelette station at the Breakfast Restaurant @Embassy Suites Convention Center in Las Vegas is okay – the selection ranges from bacon, ham, jalapeños, peppers to onions – the omelette is fine and so are the ingredients but the cheese put on the omelette at the end is just a big no-go. Synthetic crap!
The fruit selection is rather small offering just two different kinds of fruit – apples and bananas.
The same applies for the pre-cut fruit – just two different ones and some yoghurt.
On the other hand there were enough donuts and other sweets and of course …
… there was also a selection of soft drinks, sugared “juices”, tea, and coffee.
Last but not least, something healthy was to be found – some cereals but actually half of them were all sugary again.
The food is definitely mediocre – especially if you take something hot like bacon, potatoes, or sausages. The fruits are okay, the tea too. Other than that, not really how you want to start your day.
The next horrible thing is the place itself – it is like a cheap cantina. For the fact that this hotel is part of the Hilton Group I must say this is definitely one of the worst places I have experienced.
With regards to the service – there is basically none besides someone taking the used plates from tables. With regards to the price – I have no clue how much you would regularly pay for this breakfast but whatever it costs, it is definitely not worth it!
