13. January 2013: Restaurant Desperado Höngg

| January 22, 2013 | 0 Comments

The Restaurant Desperado Höngg calls itself a Mexican restaurant but as a matter of fact it is much more a “tex mex” restaurant. The “Burrito Azteca” (CHF 25.50; wheat tortilla, filled with spicy minced beef, served with salsas, salad and Mexican rice). The wheat tortilla with spicy minced beef is quite okay, the salsas are average, the rice is regular rice – typical tex mex food.

The service is friendly but quite slow. I mean, we had to wait like 10 minutes for the bill although the place was near-empty. The prices are fair (e.g. 2,5dl water, CHF 3.80). The place itself is nicely furnished, nothing special, nothing outstanding but serving its purpose. Overall, good place to eat something late on a Sunday night, not much more than that though.
