14. January 2013: Restaurant Bären

| January 23, 2013 | 0 Comments

Honestly, I was not even aware of where exactly the restaurant was but we drove by quite late that night (like 1am) and saw that there was still light on in the restaurant so decided to give it a try. And although we were basically the only guests (but one who was just about to leave), the innkeeper was so friendly to still prepare a so called “Plättli” for us (cold cuts and cheese; CHF 50.00). The selection of cold cuts was nice and tasty and a fair price for the amount served.

The place itself is simple, not really appealing but overall quite okay. The small beer only costs CHF 3.80. The service was friendly and there was not much to serve really, but all good.

Honestly, I would not drive there to go to eat but I must say that the innkeeper was extraordinarily friendly and helpful like one only experiences seldomly.
