10. March 2010: Restaurant Fonduebeizli

| March 11, 2010 | 0 Comments

The restaurant Fonduebeizli is located close to the city center of St. Gallen and reachable within 3 minutes walking.
Although it doesn’t look too appealing from the outside, the house it is built in, has something nice and old-fashioned. Once you enter the place, you’re experiencing the cozyness of wood which makes the place somehow nice.

When you’re coming to have lunch, you’ll have to wait quite a while until you’re served – even just bringing the drinks takes the waitress quite a while.

The menu you can choose from for lunch is not really big but offers a nice choice.

As a starter I had a “Mehlsuppe” which was good but not exquisite. It was followed by a little green salad for which the same rating is applicable.
As a main dish, I enjoyed Spätze with meat which were quite good.

The most amazing part of eating lunch in the Fonduebeizli is its price. Absolutely a go if you choose from the three lunch menus offered – maybe not so much if you go à la carte!
