31. January 2013: Restaurant Trocadero

| February 9, 2013 | 0 Comments

Regular lunch for a fair price is what you get at the Restaurant Trocadero – the menu (CHF 19.00) starts with a leaf salad which is okay. The sauce is obviously industrially produced and therefore only limitedly tasty but still fine.

The Pizza “Mamma Mia” (with tomatoes, mozzarrella, salame picante, shoulder of ham, bacon) is quite okay but a bit to oily and fatty – I mean, of course all the different meats emit oil when baked but still, it was too much.

The prices are very fair, no question, also for the beverages (San Pelegrino, 0,5L, CHF 5.50; Rhäzünser, 0,35L, CHF 4.50). The service is not very outstanding – and neither is the place itself. We had to wait like 10 minutes until someone bothered to come to our table. Overall, the dishes at the Restaurant Trocadero serve their purpose – they provide you with energy to keep on going but it is definitely not a place worth going.
