31. January 2013: Restaurant Schloss Wartenstein

| February 10, 2013 | 0 Comments

The Restaurant Schloss Wartenstein is great for two reasons – amazing view and very flexible service! I ordered a beef tatar (CHF 32.00) and right in the moment when it was served I had to get up and leave the restaurant and I told them that I will be back. Well, they managed to arrange everything so it was prepared to go. When I came back it was ready to be taken with me and in the end I actually had the time to eat it properly and they brought me the toasted bread and everything. Although it must have been very annoying for them they reacted professionally at all times! Definitely great service!

The beef tatar looks rather non-appealing on the picture but that was due to the fact that me made the kitchen hurry to prepare it for us. The tatar itself was good – somehow it was a bit too smooth so it was more one piece than small pieces of meat being a tatar. Still, it was good.

As mentioned before, the view from the Schloss Wartenstein is definitely outstanding. Basically, you get to see all over the Bad Ragaz area. And especially when it is dark it is breath-taking. Overall, the Restaurant Schloss Wartenstein is recommended – flexible service, great view, good food and last but not least fair prices (e.g. Coke Zero, CHF 4.50).
