4. February 2013: Restaurant Piacere

| February 13, 2013 | 0 Comments

A simple dish for a very fair price is what you get at the Restaurant Piacere for lunch. I had the Menu Piacere (CHF 19.50) which started with a green salad with Italian dressing. The salad was fine, nothing special.

As a main course, a “Scaloppine di maiale al limone con tagliatelle” (pork schnitzel with lemon sauce and tagliatelle) was served. The pasta was perfectly al dente and the pork schnitzel was quite tasty too. All in all, a very fair and sound dish.

The prices are really, really fair – especially for Zurich. Even a bottle of water (0,5L San Pellegrino) is payable only accounting for CHF 6.00. The service is quick, does its job. Fair too. Overall, the Restaurant Piacere is recommendable for a business lunch – it is quick, payable, fair food, fair service, and not too bad of an atmosphere.
