5. February 2013: Restaurant Asian Moon

| February 14, 2013 | 0 Comments

Lunch at the Restaurant Asian Moon is unique in Zurich as it is one of the few places where you actually get fine food for very acceptable prices. I had one of the business lunch menues – the Cantonese duck in an orange sauce with rice (CHF 24.50). The dish was fine but nothing outstanding to be fair. I mean, the duck was okay but it somehow was missing crispiness, the sauce was fine too but somehow it was just missing the special edge. And the rice was rice.

The place is okay look-wise as well as the service. I mean, both is not really outstanding in any direction or special and you sure smell like Asian food once you leave the place but overall, it is pretty fine. Overall, the Restaurant Asian Moon is the perfect place for a quick business lunch. Even the prices for the beverages are fair – 0,5L Henniez account for CHF 5.50.
