25. June 2010: Bar Le Trottoir
The Bar Le Trottoir is located right in the middle of Piazza 24 Maggio and therefore easily reachable with tram 9 or 29/30 (stop: 24 Maggio). It is close to Ristorante Noi Due, Ristorante Flamba, and the Gelateria Frozen. The place looks nice from the outside although the tables on the outside don’t offer too much space to sit down.
The inside is quite nice too – especially as there is a live band playing music. This has one large downturn though, the music is way too loud so you’re nearly deaf when you get out.
The waiters are friendly but not really attentive and slow. The drinks are strong and okay in price (8 EUR) but not really tasty.
All in all, the Bar Le Trottoir is a good place to sit if you manage to get a table outside where you have some space (there are larger and smaller tables), otherwise – if you want to sit inside – don’t forget to bring your earplugs!
