12. September 2010: Restaurant Hotel Kurhaus
The Hotel Kurhaus is located towards the further end of the town of Lenzerheide and not too far from the Golfclub Lenzerheide. The brunch is included in the room when you stay a night (CHF 70.00 per person in a double room).
The brunch room is quite nice in design and also the arrangement of the tables and on the tables was nice. The buffet to choose from is quite nice, offering a large selection of bread, jam, meat, eggs, cheese, yoguhrt, cereals, and some fruit juices. Also, coffee and tea is free to be taken from.
There is no service, but also, there is no need for service, but the buffet is continuously re-filled so you won’t find a moment (besides maybe waiting a few minutes) when you don’t have what you want on the buffet.
The brunch buffet at the Hotel Kurhaus offers a nice choice for a good start into the day. In my opinion, elements like smoked salmon, mashed potatoes, bacon and the like are missing, but at least the selection of cold cuts and cheese is appropriately large.
