16. February 2011: Restaurant Namaste

| February 20, 2011 | 0 Comments

The lunch menus at the Restaurant Namaste are fair and good. This time I had “Tender beef with special spices from Madras” (EUR 6.90) which came with a salad again. The salad is okay, the sauce is pretty much pure yoghurt but okay.

The main dish, the beef was good and pretty spicy. Definitely way more spicy than the chicken I’ve had the last time. The Naam bread was good again too and is perfect to finish up the spicy sauce.

The waiters are friendly and quick, the dishes are pretty good, the atmosphere is okay but “too Indian” (or better said, cliché Indian). The prices are really fair, meaning, really low especially for the size of the dishes.

Close to the Restaurant Namaste are the Restaurant Audrey’s food & flavour and Restaurant Paulaner’s Wirtshaus in the Westin Grand Hotel.
