16. February 2011: freebird bar
The freebird bar is a small room which is already the whole bar. The picture shows much more light than the actual bar which is way darker. The place is small, somewhat old, nice and cozy. The bar has a nice selection of Whiskeys. I tried the Whisky Glenmorangie 10y (4cl = 8 EUR) which was good in taste and quite mild.
The bar tender is friendly and helpful and provided us with the necessary within seconds. Only paying by credit card is not possible. They accept EC, but no VISA, Amex or MasterCard.
In walking distance of the freebird bar are the Restaurant Vorstadt Café, the Bar Tapas, and the Café Soda.
