28. April 2011: UNI Lounge
The Uni Lounge could be a really nice place but, unfortunately, it has one major problem: The place is pretty small and if there are a lot of people inside (like it happened that night when about 500 people from InterNations.org were there), it gets way too hot – literally speaking. The design is nice and inviting (modern and sec) but it’s just too small for a large crowd.
The music which was played was not really overwhelming. The songs played varied massively in quality and fit. First, the song of your life was played and ten seconds later it changed to this absolutely boring song which had nothing to do with partying. The drinks are rather boring (almost no alcohol in them, my vodka lemon was basically a lemonade). Overall, the place has potential, but as a matter of fact, the potential is not being realized.
Close to it there are other places like the Bar Tapas, the freebird bar, the Café Soda, or the Restaurant Vorstadt Café.
