17. February 2011: Restaurant Vapiano Bogenhausen

| February 21, 2011 | 0 Comments

The Vapiano concept is spread all over the world. Vapiano exists also in Germany and so I decided to go for some good old fashioned pasta dish with carbonara sauce (EUR 7.00). You go to the counter and pick which kind of pasta (selection of 8 different ones) you want and which kind of sauce you want with the pasta. Then, the cook prepares the food right in front of you.

That was our cook who prepared the pasta with the carbonara sauce and the sauce was really tasty. So, definitely nothing to complain about that. Only the pasta was a small little bit cooked too much. But only slightly.

While the pasta is pretty fair in price, the drinks are a bit expensive but the “AriZona Blueberry White Tea” (EUR 3.80) is still decent in price and tasty too. The cook was friendly but it took him quite a while to prepare the food. Also, he only used one of the two pans to prepare dishes for a long time so we had to wait quite long to get the food.

The atmosphere of the Vapiano Bogenhausen in Munich is quite nice. It is somewhat modern and inviting.

All in all, the Restaurant Vapiano Bogenhausen is a good place to go for a quick business lunch with freshly prepared Italian dishes and the pasta is quite good and fair in price.

Close to the Restaurant Vapiano Bogenhausen are the Restaurant Paulaner’s Wirtshaus in the Westin Grand Hotel, the Restaurant Audrey’s food & flavour, and the Restaurant Namaste. Another review on a Restaurant Vapiano in Stockholm, Sweden, you can find here.
