28. November 2010: Brasserie Bodu – Haus zum Raben

| November 28, 2010 | 0 Comments

The Brasserie Bodu is located close to the Rathaustreppe in Lucerne, close to the river Reuss. It is easily reachable on foot from the main station. Close to the Bodu there are quite a few other restaurants and bars like the Restaurant zum Weissen Kreuz, the Restaurant Schiff, the Restaurant Gondola, or the Lounge at the Hotel des Balances.

The Bodu has two entrances, one for smokers and one for non-smokers. The non-smokers entrance is located in a side street. The interior looks okay – it’s somewhat old, and pretty special in “design”. But it makes you feel comfortable nevertheless.

The waitresses are friendly, helpful and quick in serving. And the prices are pretty fair too (CHF 6.50 for a double espresso, CHF 4.20 for a mineral water and CHF 4.00 for a hot chocolate). Supposedly, the Brasserie Bodu offers pretty good food too but unfortunately I didn’t have the time to try it out – will let you know another time!
